Who we are

PAX HVMANVM is the jewelry and sculpture studio of Paxton Paganelli, run by Pax Humanum LLC. We decide how your information is used, which makes us its “controller” under European law.

What we collect

• When you join the list: your email address, the language of the page you used, the date and time, and that you signed up on paxhumanum.com.
• When you open our emails: our email service records whether you opened an email and which links you clicked.
• When you write to us: your message and your email address.
• When you place an order (from 30 October 2026): your name, shipping address, phone number if you give one, the pieces and sizes you choose, and confirmation that your payment arrived. We never see your bank or card details.
• Technical data: our website host briefly logs IP addresses and browser types to keep the site secure.

Why we use it

Each use, and its legal basis under EU law:

• Sending you news about collections and launches — your consent
• Answering your messages — our legitimate interest in helping you
• Making and shipping your order — carrying out our contract with you
• Keeping tax and accounting records — legal obligation
• Keeping the website secure — our legitimate interest

Giving us your email is optional, but we can’t add you to the list without it.

Who helps us

A few trusted services handle information for us, only to do their job:

• Klaviyo sends our emails and keeps the list.
• Netlify hosts this website.
• Google keeps a backup copy of sign-ups (Google Forms and Sheets).
• Proton hosts our email inbox.
• For orders, your own bank (through Zelle) and the shipping carrier.

We never sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Your information is stored in the United States. For visitors from the European Union, these transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where a provider takes part in it, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

• The list: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so we never write to you again by mistake.
• Orders: as long as tax law requires, usually up to seven years.
• Messages: as long as we need to help you.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so your visit isn’t shared with a font service.

Our emails contain a small image and tracked links that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. You can stop this by turning off images in your email app.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. You can also write to hello@paxhumanum.com to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything we did before. We reply within 30 days.

If you are in the European Union, you can also complain to your data protection authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

If you live in California, you have the right to know what we collect, to correct it and to delete it. We don’t sell or share personal information, and we will never treat you differently for using your rights.

Children

Our list and shop are not meant for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell everyone on the list by email.
